Indication
- Superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of veins just under the skin) - Bruising and haematoma - Soothing relief of superficial soft-tissue swelling
Ingredients
- Heparinoid 0.3% w/w (0.3 g per 100 g)
Direction
Apply a small amount (about 5 cm of cream) to the affected area up to several times daily and massage gently into the skin. Do not use on broken skin or in children under 5 years.
Side effects
- Local skin irritation or redness at the site of application
- Allergic contact dermatitis or rash in sensitive individuals
- Rarely
- skin thinning with prolonged use
Precautions
- Do not apply to broken skin
- open wounds
- mucous membranes or near the eyes
- Do not use over large areas of skin
- Not recommended in children under 5 years
- Stop use and seek advice if a rash or allergic reaction occurs
