Indication
- Nasal congestion - Sinus pressure - Hay fever - Upper respiratory allergies - Common cold symptoms
Ingredients
- Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride
Direction
Instill 2 to 3 sprays in each nostril every 10 to 12 hours as needed. Do not exceed 2 doses in any 24-hour period or use for more than 3 consecutive days.
Side effects
- Temporary stinging or burning
- Sneezing
- Increased nasal discharge
- Rebound nasal congestion
- Dryness of nasal mucosa
Precautions
- Do not exceed 3 days use
- Risk of rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa)
- Caution in patients with hypertension
- Consult doctor for heart disease
- Caution with thyroid disorders
- Use carefully in prostatic hypertrophy
