Oral Aid Lotion 6 ml

Indication

- Relief of mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers) - Sore gums and gum inflammation - Denture irritation - Minor toothache

Ingredients

• Lidocaine 2.5% + chlorhexidine HCl 0.5% + triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%

Direction

Apply 1-2 drops directly to the affected area in the mouth 3-4 times daily; do not eat or drink for a short period after application.

Side effects

• Transient stinging or burning at the application site
• Local numbness from the anaesthetic
• Taste alteration or tooth/tongue staining from chlorhexidine
• Local allergic reaction

Precautions

• For use in the mouth only
• avoid swallowing large amounts
• Avoid use if allergic to lidocaine
• chlorhexidine or corticosteroids
• Avoid prolonged continuous use due to the corticosteroid component
• Consult a doctor or dentist if symptoms persist or worsen
