Flixonase 0.05% w/w

Indication

- Prophylaxis and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (including hay fever) - Treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis - Relief of nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching

Ingredients

• Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms/spray (0.05% w/w)

Direction

Adults: two sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning; reduce to one spray per nostril for maintenance once symptoms are controlled.

Side effects

• Nosebleeds (epistaxis)
• Nasal dryness or irritation
• Headache
• Unpleasant taste or smell
• Throat irritation

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with nasal infections
• recent nasal surgery or trauma
• Prolonged use may cause nasal septal effects
