Indication
- Dry, irritative cough in adults - Non-productive cough requiring an antitussive
Ingredients
- Codeine camphosulfonate 25 mg + Sulfogaiacol 100 mg + Grindelia extract 20 mg
Direction
Adults take 1 tablet up to 3 times daily, not exceeding 4 tablets in 24 hours; do not use for more than a few days.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Constipation
- Nausea or vomiting
- Respiratory depression at high doses
Precautions
- Contains an opioid (codeine)
- risk of dependence
- abuse and misuse
- Contraindicated in children under 12 and during breastfeeding
- Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
- Caution in respiratory insufficiency or asthma
