Deslova 2.5 mg/5 ml

Indication

- Relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms (sneezing, runny/itchy nose) - Itchy, watery eyes due to allergy - Chronic urticaria (hives) and associated itching

Ingredients

• Desloratadine 2.5 mg/5 mL

Direction

Dose by age: children 1-5 years 2.5 mL once daily, 6-11 years 5 mL once daily, adults and children ≥12 years 10 mL once daily, or as prescribed. Can be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Fatigue or drowsiness
• Nausea
• Dizziness

Precautions

• Use with caution in severe kidney or liver impairment
• Caution in patients with a history of seizures
• Avoid alcohol
• which may add to drowsiness
• Consult a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding
