Indication
- Iron deficiency anemia - Prevention of nutritional deficiencies - Nutritional supplement during pregnancy - Supplement during lactation
Ingredients
- Ferrous Fumarate
- Folic Acid
- Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
- Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
Direction
Take one capsule daily orally, preferably on an empty stomach for maximum absorption. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew the extended-release capsule.
Side effects
- Black or dark
- colored stools
- Constipation
- Stomach cramps
- Nausea or vomiting
Precautions
- Avoid if history of iron overload
- Do not use with hemochromatosis
- Keep away from children (overdose risk)
- May interact with certain antibiotics (tetracyclines)
