Indication

- Productive cough with thick mucus - Mucolytic therapy in respiratory conditions - Bronchitis and other secretory respiratory disorders

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 4 mg/5 mL

Direction

Give orally according to age and body weight, usually three times daily, or as directed by a physician. Use the measuring device provided.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated
• Occasional nausea or stomach upset
• Headache or dizziness
• Rare skin rash or allergic reaction

Precautions

• Use with caution in gastric or duodenal ulcer
• Use with caution in severe liver or kidney impairment
• Avoid combining with cough suppressants that reduce sputum clearance
• Consult a doctor if cough persists beyond a few days
