Indication
- Reduction of fever - Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, sore throat) - Relief of pain from colds and flu - Relief of muscle and post-vaccination aches
Ingredients
- Ibuprofen 100 mg/5 mL (2 g/100 mL)
Direction
Shake well before use. Dose by body weight: usually 5-10 mg/kg every 6-8 hours as needed; do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Give with or after food.
Side effects
- Stomach upset
- nausea or heartburn
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness or headache
- Rarely
- gastrointestinal bleeding or allergic reaction
Precautions
- Avoid in active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
- Use with caution in asthma
- kidney or heart disease
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy
- Do not combine with other NSAIDs
