Clofenac 50 50 mg

Indication

- Pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis - Ankylosing spondylitis - Acute musculoskeletal pain, low back and neck pain - Post-operative pain and inflammation

Ingredients

• Diclofenac sodium 50 mg

Direction

Adults: one tablet up to three times daily as needed. Swallow whole with food or after meals; do not crush enteric-coated tablets.

Side effects

• Nausea
• stomach pain
• indigestion or diarrhea
• Headache and dizziness
• Gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding
• Raised blood pressure or fluid retention

Precautions

• Avoid in active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Use with caution in cardiovascular
• renal or hepatic impairment
• Avoid alcohol
• take with food to reduce stomach upset
• Caution in pregnancy
• especially the third trimester
