Indication
- Heartburn and acid reflux - Gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms - Acid indigestion, including after meals or during pregnancy
Ingredients
- Sodium alginate 500 mg + sodium bicarbonate 267 mg per 10 mL
Direction
Adults and children over 12: take 10-20 mL after meals and at bedtime, up to four times daily. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- Rare allergic reactions (e.g. urticaria
- bronchospasm)
- Bloating or abdominal distension
Precautions
- Contains sodium
- caution in patients on a low
- sodium diet or with heart/kidney disease
- Leave a 2
- hour gap from other medicines
- as absorption may be reduced
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 7 days
