Indication
- Treatment of magnesium deficiency - Relief of associated symptoms such as nervousness, irritability, mild anxiety and fatigue - Muscle cramps and tingling sensations linked to magnesium deficiency
Ingredients
- Magnesium lactate dihydrate 470 mg + Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) 5 mg
Direction
Adults: usually 4-6 tablets daily in divided doses; children over 6 years: as directed. Take with a glass of water during meals.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Allergic skin reactions (rare)
Precautions
- Avoid in severe renal impairment
- Separate intake from phosphate or calcium salts and tetracyclines
- Avoid concurrent use with levodopa (pyridoxine may reduce its effect)
- High doses may cause diarrhea
