Indication
- Symptomatic relief of dry, non-productive cough - Irritating cough associated with colds or flu
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 5 mg/5 mL
Direction
Take orally as directed by a physician, with the dose adjusted by age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Gastrointestinal upset
Precautions
- Not for productive (mucus
- producing) cough
- Do not use with MAOI antidepressants
- Avoid in chronic cough due to asthma or smoking unless advised
- Consult a doctor if cough persists beyond 7 days
