Indication

- Loose (productive) cough with thick, viscid bronchial secretions - Acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary congestion - Cough associated with the common cold or allergy

Ingredients

• Carbocisteine 100 mg / Promethazine HCl 2.5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Shake well before use. Take orally as directed by a physician; dose depends on age and body weight.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and sedation
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
• Nausea or gastrointestinal upset

Precautions

• Promethazine causes drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• Use with caution in young children
• asthma and in those with peptic ulcer disease
