Indication
- Symptomatic relief of dry cough - Relief of irritative (non-productive) cough - Relief of cough associated with allergy or cold
Ingredients
- Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 30 mg + triprolidine hydrochloride 2 mg
Direction
Adults (15 years and over): 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed; do not exceed 4 tablets per day. Limit use to a few days (maximum 5 days).
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Dry mouth
- Nausea or vomiting
- Constipation
Precautions
- May cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery and alcohol
- Avoid in asthma or productive (chesty) cough
- Contraindicated during breast
- feeding
- use in pregnancy only if necessary
- Caution in glaucoma
- prostatic hypertrophy and with MAOI use
