Indication
- Community-acquired pneumonia - Acute sinusitis - Chronic bronchitis exacerbation - Urinary tract infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Chronic bacterial prostatitis
Ingredients
- Levofloxacin
Direction
Take orally once daily at the same time each day. It can be taken with or without food; ensure adequate fluid intake during treatment.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Insomnia
- Dizziness
- Photosensitivity
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- May cause QT interval prolongation
- Contraindicated in patients with epilepsy
- Avoid if history of quinolone allergy
- May exacerbate myasthenia gravis muscle weakness
- Risk of peripheral neuropathy
