Almetamin 0.25 mg / 2 mg

Indication

Treatment of acute urticaria, hay fever, chronic bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, drug eruption, atopic dermatitis, eczema, contact dermatitis and allergic conjunctivitis.

Ingredients

• Betamethasone 0.25 mg
• Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: initial dosage 1–2 tablets 1–4 times daily. Children 6 to 12 years: initial dosage ½–1 tablet 2–3 times daily. Children 3 to 6 years: initial dosage ¼–½ tablet 2–3 times daily. If symptoms improve, gradually reduce to minimal maintenance dose, then discontinue. Store in well-closed container below 30°C. Do not use for long periods.

• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Blurred vision
• Skin thinning with prolonged corticosteroid use
• Increased susceptibility to infections

Precautions

• Do not use for a long time without medical supervision
• Avoid driving or operating machinery — may cause drowsiness
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store below 30°C in a well

• Consult a physician before use in children under 3 years
