Indication
Prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency during conditions with increased requirement or increased risk of deficiencies.
Ingredients
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 1 g
Direction
One ampoule per day by intravenous injection. Adult and children above 12: 500–1000 mg daily. Follow physician prescription.
Side effects
- Local injection site reactions
- Nausea (if given too rapidly)
- Allergic reactions (rare)
Precautions
- Contraindicated with hypersensitivity to any active substance
- Contraindicated in nephrolithiasis
- severe renal insufficiency
- hemochromatosis
- Store below 25°C
- Keep out of reach of children
