Vicks DayQuil Severe Cold & Flu

Indication

- Temporarily relieves common cold and flu symptoms - Relieves headache, minor aches, pains and fever - Relieves cough and chest congestion - Relieves nasal congestion

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen 325 mg
• Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg
• Guaifenesin 200 mg
• Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (per dose unit)

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 LiquiCaps (or 30 mL liquid) with water every 4 hours; do not exceed the labelled maximum doses in 24 hours.

Side effects

• Nervousness
• dizziness or sleeplessness
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Increased blood pressure or rapid heartbeat
• Rarely
• serious skin or allergic reactions

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose of acetaminophen can cause severe liver damage
• Do not use with other acetaminophen
• containing products or within 2 weeks of an MAOI
• Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes or liver disease
• Avoid alcohol
