Indication
- Temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms - Relieves fever, headache and minor aches and pains - Relieves cough and sore throat - Relieves runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion
Ingredients
- Acetaminophen 650 mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg
- Doxylamine succinate 12.5 mg
- Phenylephrine HCl 10 mg (per dose)
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: take the labeled dose (e.g. 30 mL liquid or 2 LiquiCaps) every 6 hours, not more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Take at bedtime as it causes drowsiness.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dizziness
- Dry mouth
- nose or throat
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Nervousness or sleeplessness
Precautions
- Contains acetaminophen
- do not exceed dose or combine with other acetaminophen products (liver damage risk)
- Avoid alcohol
- do not use with MAOI antidepressants
- May cause marked drowsiness
- do not drive or operate machinery
- Consult a doctor if you have liver disease
- glaucoma
- high blood pressure or prostate enlargement
