Indication
- Respiratory tract infections - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis - Skin and soft tissue infections - Acute maxillary sinusitis - H. pylori eradication therapy
Ingredients
- Clarithromycin
Direction
Take orally with or without food. Usually 1 tablet twice daily for 7 to 14 days as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea or abdominal pain
- Metallic or distorted taste
- Headache
- Dyspepsia
Precautions
- Allergic to macrolide antibiotics
- History of QT interval prolongation
- Severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Concurrent use with certain statins
- History of cardiac arrhythmias
