Combantrin Chocolate Squares 100 mg

Indication

- Treatment of threadworm (pinworm) infection - Treatment of roundworm infection - Treatment of hookworm infection

Ingredients

• Pyrantel (as embonate) 100 mg per square

Direction

Take as a single dose: one square (100 mg) for every 10 kg of body weight, chewed and swallowed after food. For threadworm a single dose is usually sufficient; for other worms repeat as directed.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal cramps
• Diarrhea
• Headache or dizziness
• Skin rash (rare)

Precautions

• Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Use with caution in liver impairment
• Not generally recommended for children under 1 year without medical advice
• Contains milk protein
