Indication
- Neuropathic pain (diabetic peripheral neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia) - Adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures in adults - Generalized anxiety disorder - Fibromyalgia
Ingredients
- Pregabalin 75 mg
Direction
Take orally as directed by a physician; usual starting dose 75 mg twice daily, with or without food. Do not stop abruptly.
Side effects
- Dizziness and somnolence
- Weight gain and peripheral edema
- Dry mouth
- Blurred vision
- Headache
Precautions
- May cause dizziness and drowsiness
- avoid driving until effects are known
- Taper gradually when discontinuing
- Use caution in renal impairment (dose adjustment needed)
- Risk of dependence and respiratory depression with opioids/CNS depressants
