Indication
- Major depressive disorder - Obsessive-compulsive disorder - Panic disorder - Post-traumatic stress disorder - Social anxiety disorder
Ingredients
- Sertraline 50 mg
Direction
Take one tablet by mouth once daily, with or without food, as directed by your doctor. The dose is adjusted gradually based on response.
Side effects
- Nausea
- diarrhea
- dry mouth
- Insomnia or drowsiness
- Dizziness
- tremor
- Sexual dysfunction
- Increased sweating
Precautions
- Risk of increased suicidal thoughts
- especially in young adults at start of treatment
- Do not combine with MAO inhibitors
- risk of serotonin syndrome
- Use caution in liver impairment
- bleeding disorders
- or with NSAIDs/anticoagulants
- Do not stop abruptly
- taper to avoid withdrawal symptoms
