Indication

- Symptomatic treatment of anxiety - Prevention and treatment of alcohol withdrawal symptoms, including delirium tremens

Ingredients

• Oxazepam 10 mg

Direction

Take by mouth as directed by a physician; doses are usually divided through the day. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and sedation
• Fatigue and muscle weakness
• Confusion or memory impairment
• Dizziness
• Paradoxical reactions such as agitation (uncommon)

Precautions

• Risk of dependence and withdrawal
• avoid abrupt discontinuation
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• May impair driving and use of machines due to drowsiness
• Use with caution in the elderly and in respiratory or hepatic impairment
