Indication
- Temporary relief of cold and flu symptoms - Relief of headache, body ache, sore throat and fever - Suppression of cough - Loosening of mucus (expectorant) - Relief of nasal and sinus congestion
Ingredients
- Acetaminophen 325 mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg
- Guaifenesin 200 mg
- Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg (per caplet)
Direction
Adults and children 12 years and over: take the labeled number of caplets every 4 hours; do not exceed the maximum daily dose stated on the package.
Side effects
- Nervousness
- dizziness or sleeplessness
- Nausea
- Increased blood pressure or rapid heartbeat
- Drowsiness
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose
- overdose of acetaminophen can cause severe liver damage
- Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen
- Avoid with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Avoid alcohol while taking this product
