Indication

- Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea - Symptomatic treatment of chronic diarrhea in adults

Ingredients

• Loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg

Direction

Adults: usually 2 capsules initially, then 1 capsule after each loose stool, not exceeding the maximum daily dose stated on the package. Take with water.

Side effects

• Constipation
• Abdominal cramps or bloating
• Nausea
• Dizziness
• Dry mouth

Precautions

• Do not use if there is blood in the stool or high fever (possible invasive infection)
• Maintain adequate fluid and electrolyte intake during diarrhea
• Discontinue and seek advice if no improvement within 48 hours
• Avoid in acute dysentery and in children below the labeled age limit
