Indication
- Symptomatic treatment of severe and/or disabling anxiety - Prevention and treatment of delirium tremens and other alcohol withdrawal symptoms
Ingredients
- Bromazepam 6 mg
Direction
Take by mouth as prescribed; the quadrisectable tablet can be divided to adjust the dose. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and sedation
- Fatigue and muscle weakness
- Confusion or memory impairment
- Dizziness
- Paradoxical reactions such as agitation (uncommon)
Precautions
- Risk of dependence and withdrawal
- avoid abrupt discontinuation
- Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
- May impair driving and operating machinery due to drowsiness
- Use with caution in the elderly and in respiratory or hepatic impairment
