Indication

- Short-term treatment of insomnia - Difficulty falling asleep - Night-time awakenings - Early-morning awakening

Ingredients

• Zopiclone 7.5 mg

Direction

Take one tablet by mouth immediately before bedtime; usual adult dose is 7.5 mg. Treatment should be as short as possible, generally not more than 4 weeks.

Side effects

• Bitter or metallic taste in the mouth
• Drowsiness and dizziness
• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Daytime sleepiness or impaired alertness

Precautions

• Risk of dependence and tolerance
• use for the shortest time possible
• Causes drowsiness
• do not drive or operate machinery
• including the next morning
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• Caution in respiratory or liver impairment
• the elderly
• and history of substance misuse
