Indication
- Contraception (prevention of pregnancy) - Reduction of sexually transmitted infection (STI) transmission risk
Ingredients
- Natural rubber latex condom (lubricated)
Direction
Apply over an erect penis before intercourse, leaving space at the tip; use a new condom for each act. Use only water-based lubricants with latex.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- Local irritation or allergic reaction to latex or lubricant in sensitive individuals
Precautions
- Do not use if latex allergy is present
- Do not reuse
- single use only
- Avoid oil
- based lubricants which damage latex
- Check expiry date and avoid using damaged packaging
