Indication
- Helps prevent dental cavities (anticavity toothpaste) - Strengthens tooth enamel for children - Daily oral hygiene
Ingredients
- Sodium fluoride 0.243% (0.15% w/v fluoride ion)
Direction
Brush teeth thoroughly twice daily, or as directed by a dentist. For children under 6, use a pea-sized amount and supervise to minimize swallowing.
Side effects
- Generally well tolerated
- Rarely
- mild mouth or gum irritation
- Excessive fluoride ingestion may cause nausea or
- long
- term
- dental fluorosis
Precautions
- For children under 6
- supervise brushing to minimize swallowing
- Do not swallow
- spit out after use
- If more than used for brushing is swallowed
- seek professional help or contact a poison control center
