Indication
- Adjunctive treatment of partial seizures (epilepsy) - Relief of neuropathic pain - Management of postherpetic neuralgia
Ingredients
- Gabapentin 300 mg
Direction
Take one capsule by mouth as directed by your doctor, with the dose titrated gradually. Swallow whole with water; may be taken with or without food.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and dizziness
- Fatigue and unsteadiness (ataxia)
- Swelling of the hands or feet (peripheral edema)
- Nausea
Precautions
- Do not stop suddenly
- withdraw gradually to avoid increased seizures
- May cause dizziness and drowsiness
- avoid driving until you know how it affects you
- Use with caution in kidney impairment
- dose adjustment may be needed
