Indication

- Adjunctive treatment of partial seizures (epilepsy) - Relief of neuropathic pain - Management of postherpetic neuralgia

Ingredients

• Gabapentin 300 mg

Direction

Take one capsule by mouth as directed by your doctor, with the dose titrated gradually. Swallow whole with water; may be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness and dizziness
• Fatigue and unsteadiness (ataxia)
• Swelling of the hands or feet (peripheral edema)
• Nausea

Precautions

• Do not stop suddenly
• withdraw gradually to avoid increased seizures
• May cause dizziness and drowsiness
• avoid driving until you know how it affects you
• Use with caution in kidney impairment
• dose adjustment may be needed
