Indication
- Depression - Neuropathic pain - Migraine and tension headache prevention - Nocturnal enuresis in children
Ingredients
- Amitriptyline 25 mg
Direction
Take orally as directed by a physician, usually in the evening as it may cause drowsiness. Dose is increased gradually.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness
- Constipation
- Dizziness
- Weight gain
Precautions
- May increase suicidal thoughts in patients under 25
- monitor closely
- Caution in heart disease and cardiac arrhythmias
- Anticholinergic effects
- caution in glaucoma and prostate enlargement
- Avoid alcohol
- do not stop abruptly
