Indication

- Short-term treatment of anxiety and nervous tension - Severe, disabling or distressing anxiety symptoms - Anxiety requiring sedative treatment

Ingredients

• Prazepam 10 mg

Direction

Usual dose is 10 to 30 mg per day in one or two divided doses, adjusted to response; treatment should be as short as possible and generally not exceed 8 to 12 weeks including tapering. Do not stop abruptly.

• confusion and impaired coordination
• Muscle weakness
• Memory impairment
• Dependence with prolonged use

Precautions

• Risk of dependence and withdrawal
• avoid prolonged use
• May impair driving and operating machinery
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• Caution in respiratory insufficiency
• severe liver impairment
