Indication

- Relief of upset stomach and indigestion - Heartburn and nausea - Diarrhea, including traveler's diarrhea - Fullness associated with overindulgence in food and drink

Ingredients

• Bismuth subsalicylate 525 mg

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take 30 mL (2 tablespoons) or one 525 mg dose every 30 minutes to 1 hour as needed; do not exceed 8 doses in 24 hours, and do not use for more than 2 days.

Side effects

• Temporary darkening of the tongue and stool
• Constipation
• Tinnitus (ringing in ears) with excessive use
• Nausea

Precautions

• Contains salicylate
• do not use with other salicylate products (e.g.
• aspirin)
• Do not give to children or teenagers recovering from chickenpox or flu (Reye's syndrome risk)
• Ask a doctor before use if pregnant
