Indication
- Treatment of high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) - Mixed dyslipidemia - Hypertriglyceridemia - Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients
Ingredients
- Rosuvastatin 10 mg
Direction
Take one 10 mg tablet once daily, with or without food, at any time of day. The dose may be adjusted by a doctor based on cholesterol response.
Side effects
- Headache
- Muscle pain (myalgia)
- Nausea and abdominal pain
- Constipation
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Contraindicated in active liver disease and during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Report unexplained muscle pain
- tenderness or weakness (risk of myopathy/rhabdomyolysis)
- Use lower doses in patients of Asian descent and with renal impairment
- Limit alcohol intake
- monitor liver function as advised
