Indication

- Treatment of influenza A and B - Post-exposure prevention of influenza

Ingredients

• Oseltamivir 6 mg/mL (oral suspension)

Direction

Shake well before use. Adults: 75 mg twice daily for 5 days for treatment, started within 48 hours of symptom onset; pediatric doses are based on body weight. Use the provided oral dosing syringe to measure the suspension.

Side effects

• Nausea and vomiting
• Headache
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea

Precautions

• Not a substitute for influenza vaccination
• Reduce dose in patients with renal impairment
• Monitor for neuropsychiatric events (confusion
• abnormal behavior)
• especially in children
• Stop and seek care if a severe skin or hypersensitivity reaction occurs
