Indication

- Temporary relief of burning or stinging during urination - Symptomatic relief of cystitis and urinary-tract irritation - Helps neutralise excess urinary acidity by raising urine pH

Ingredients

• Sodium bicarbonate
• sodium citrate
• citric acid and tartaric acid (urinary alkaliniser
• 4 g sachet)

Direction

Dissolve one 4 g sachet in a glass of water and drink, up to four times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

• Nausea
• With excessive or prolonged use
• disturbance of sodium and acid
• base balance

Precautions

• Not for use in people on a sodium
• restricted diet or with heart
• kidney or liver disease without medical advice
• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond 48 hours or if there is blood in the urine
• fever or back pain
• May reduce the effectiveness of some antibiotics (e.g. nitrofurantoin)
