Indication

- Short-term treatment of severe anxiety that is disabling or causing distress - Symptomatic relief of anxiety-related tension, agitation and nervousness

Ingredients

• Bromazepam 6 mg

Direction

Take exactly as prescribed; usual adult dose is divided across the day, with the largest dose at bedtime. Use at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time, generally not exceeding 2-4 weeks including tapering.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• sedation and fatigue
• Dizziness
• unsteadiness and impaired coordination
• Confusion or memory impairment
• Muscle weakness
• Paradoxical reactions (agitation
• irritability) especially in the elderly

Precautions

• Risk of dependence
• tolerance and withdrawal
• avoid abrupt discontinuation
• Do not combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants/opioids (risk of severe sedation and respiratory depression)
• Causes drowsiness
• do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you
• Use with caution in the elderly
• respiratory insufficiency
• liver impairment
• and avoid in pregnancy/breastfeeding
