Indication

- Major depressive disorder - Generalised anxiety disorder - Social anxiety disorder - Panic disorder

Ingredients

• Venlafaxine 37.5 mg (extended
• release)

Direction

Take one capsule once daily with food, swallowed whole at about the same time each day. Dose is adjusted by the prescriber; do not stop abruptly.

Side effects

• Nausea and dry mouth
• Headache and dizziness
• Insomnia or drowsiness
• Sweating
• Sexual dysfunction

Precautions

• May raise blood pressure
• monitor regularly
• Risk of suicidal thoughts
• especially early in treatment and in young adults
• Do not stop abruptly to avoid withdrawal symptoms
• Avoid use with MAO inhibitors
