Indication
- Major depressive disorder - Generalised anxiety disorder - Social anxiety disorder - Panic disorder
Ingredients
- Venlafaxine 37.5 mg (extended
- release)
Direction
Take one capsule once daily with food, swallowed whole at about the same time each day. Dose is adjusted by the prescriber; do not stop abruptly.
Side effects
- Nausea and dry mouth
- Headache and dizziness
- Insomnia or drowsiness
- Sweating
- Sexual dysfunction
Precautions
- May raise blood pressure
- monitor regularly
- Risk of suicidal thoughts
- especially early in treatment and in young adults
- Do not stop abruptly to avoid withdrawal symptoms
- Avoid use with MAO inhibitors
