Indication
- Short-term relief of anxiety - Muscle spasm - Seizure control - Alcohol withdrawal symptoms
Ingredients
- Diazepam 5 mg
Direction
Take by mouth as directed by the prescriber, usually 2-10 mg two to four times daily depending on the condition. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
Side effects
- Drowsiness and fatigue
- Muscle weakness
- Dizziness
- Confusion
- Unsteadiness
Precautions
- Risk of dependence
- use short term only
- Causes drowsiness
- avoid driving and operating machinery
- Do not combine with alcohol or other CNS depressants
- Do not stop abruptly after prolonged use
