Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil Severe Cold & Flu 325 mg

Indication

- Temporary relief of common cold and flu symptoms - Nasal and sinus congestion - Cough from throat and bronchial irritation - Headache, fever, sore throat and minor aches - Nighttime relief to help rest (NyQuil)

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen 325 mg with dextromethorphan and phenylephrine
• plus guaifenesin (DayQuil) and doxylamine (NyQuil)

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: take DayQuil during the day and NyQuil at night as directed on the package; do not exceed the labeled dose and avoid other products containing acetaminophen.

Side effects

• Drowsiness (especially NyQuil)
• Nervousness
• dizziness or sleeplessness
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Increased blood pressure or fast heartbeat

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• acetaminophen overdose can cause serious liver damage
• Avoid alcohol and other products containing acetaminophen
• NyQuil may cause drowsiness
• do not drive after taking it
• Caution with high blood pressure
• heart disease or MAO inhibitors
