Indication
- Impetigo - Folliculitis - Infected traumatic skin lesions - Secondarily infected dermatoses - Ecthyma
Ingredients
- Mupirocin
Direction
Apply a small amount to the affected area three times daily for up to 10 days. The treated area may be covered with a gauze dressing if needed.
Side effects
- Local burning or stinging
- Itching (pruritus)
- Skin redness (erythema)
- Dryness
- Secondary wound infection
Precautions
- For external use only
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Not for use on extensive burns
- Discontinue if sensitization occurs
- Avoid prolonged use to prevent resistance
