Indication
- Fungal skin infections - Dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis - Tinea corporis (ringworm) - Tinea cruris (jock itch) - Tinea pedis (athlete's foot) - Systemic fungal infections (oral use)
Ingredients
- Ketoconazole
Direction
Apply topical cream or shampoo to the affected area once or twice daily. For oral tablets, take with food to increase absorption once daily as prescribed.
Side effects
- Application site burning or irritation
- Nausea or vomiting (oral form)
- Abdominal pain
- Itching or rash
- Changes in hair texture (shampoo)
Precautions
- Risk of severe liver toxicity (oral)
- Monitor liver function during treatment
