Indication
- Oral candidiasis (thrush) - Fungal infections of the mouth - Fungal infections of the throat - Gastrointestinal fungal infections
Ingredients
- Miconazole nitrate
Direction
Apply to the oral cavity after meals. Retain the gel in the mouth for as long as possible before swallowing.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Mouth dryness or irritation
- Diarrhea
- Altered sense of taste
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to miconazole or imidazoles
- Interaction with oral anticoagulants (Warfarin)
- Caution in patients with liver disease
- Potential choking hazard in young infants
- Monitor blood glucose in diabetics
