Indication
- Biotin deficiency - Support of hair, skin, and nail health - Brittle nails - Hair loss (alopecia) - Metabolic support of carbohydrates and lipids
Ingredients
- Biotin (Vitamin B8 / Vitamin H)
Direction
Take orally with water. Usually taken as 1 tablet or capsule daily, preferably with a meal.
Side effects
- Rare allergic reactions
- Mild gastrointestinal upset
- Nausea
- Skin rash at very high doses
Precautions
- May interfere with laboratory blood tests (e.g.
- thyroid or troponin)
- Inform healthcare providers of biotin use before blood work
- Consult a physician if pregnant or breastfeeding
