Indication

- Prevention of pregnancy - Treatment of moderate acne - Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) - Regulation of menstrual cycle

Ingredients

• Ethinyl Estradiol and Drospirenone

Direction

Take one tablet orally every day at the same time for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 pill-free or placebo days. Administration must be consistent to ensure effectiveness.

Side effects

• Nausea or vomiting
• Breast tenderness or swelling
• Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
• Headache or migraine
• Changes in mood or libido
• Weight fluctuations

Precautions

• Increased risk of blood clots
• Smoking increases cardiovascular side effects
• Contraindicated in history of thrombosis
• Not for patients with renal disease
• Avoid if history of breast cancer
