Indication
- Moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease - Dementia symptoms - Cognitive impairment associated with Alzheimer's
Ingredients
- Memantine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally once or twice daily with or without food as prescribed. Usually started at a low dose and increased gradually over several weeks.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Confusion
- Constipation
- Hypertension
- Somnolence (sleepiness)
Precautions
- Severe renal impairment
- History of seizure disorders
- Conditions increasing urine pH
- Severe hepatic impairment
