Indication

- Medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy - Early pregnancy termination up to 63 days gestation

Ingredients

• Mifepristone and Misoprostol

Direction

One Mifepristone tablet is taken orally, followed 36 to 48 hours later by four Misoprostol tablets administered vaginally.

Side effects

• Heavy vaginal bleeding
• Severe abdominal cramping and pain
• Nausea and vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Dizziness
• Chills and fever

Precautions

• Contraindicated in suspected ectopic pregnancy
• Not for patients with chronic adrenal failure
• Remove intrauterine device (IUD) before use
• Requires medical supervision and follow
• up
• Not for patients with severe asthma
• Caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
